Take Action!
Ontario Species at Risk
Hello and thank you for taking a stand for Ontario’s species at risk!
Creating and sending postcards to protect animals like the Barn Owl, the Loggerhead Shrike and the Blandings Turtle sends an important and powerful message and lets elected officials know that we care!
Here in Ontario, over 270 plants and animals are at-risk! Their loss or decline affects food webs and landscapes and jeopardizes the well-being of all living beings, including us. Now more than ever, the Government of Ontario needs to restore the Endangered Species Act and work to protect Ontario nature from habitat loss and degradation, climate change, invasive species, pollution and over-exploitation of natural resources.
Protecting nature and vital ecosystems is not “red tape”.
Follow these step by step instructions to create your own postcards to protect Ontario’s nature!
You can send your postcard by regular mail, email, or drop it off at our MPP Mike Schreiners office.
