COMMUNITY & CLIMATE ACTION with David Douglas of Guelph Climate Action Network (GCAN)
Community and the climate are both in need of care, and we can best address the latter crisis by addressing the first.
David would like to facilitate a conversation by presenting some overview thoughts and perspectives on community and what we associate with the climate crisis, the evolving topography of community activism in Guelph on these challenges, the emerging activity agenda of the Guelph Climate Action Network (GCAN), where he is a founding Board Member, and particularly the shared challenges and opportunities of extending the breadth of community engagement in climate mitigation and adaptation.
Green Drinks is always free to attend, and drinks are available from the cash-only bar (ATM available).
Thursday, May 8th, 7:30 pm at the Red Chevron in Guelph
